From Diaz Primary to Point High School, Raynier’s journey has been one of pure brilliance.

A proud member of the Mossel Bay Chess Club and the only player selected from the Eden District, he now heads to Colombia 🇨🇴 (Aug 16–23, 2025) to represent South Africa on the world stage! 🌍♟️

A true academic and sporting all-rounder — Raynier also shines in rugby, athletics, and the classroom.

This young legend is proof that South Africa’s future is BRIGHT! 🇿🇦

Mossel Bay Chess Club starting off strong with the Inter-Club Blitz tournament, winning the first two legs back to back. Well done guys!

Mossel Bay players dominated the B-section at the Southern Knights Open, taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. And one of our rising stars placed 2nd in the A-section.
