This academy is a project of the Department of Culture Affairs and Sport. Purpose: Identify and develop young athletes for High Performance sports.
The purpose of this page is purely to convey information to athletes, coaches, administrators, officials and other sporting participants which relates to the academy. The academy was officially launched in January 2013. A massive talent identification process occurred whereby athletes from a range of sporting codes were selected.
