The WAKO World Championship for Children, Cadets and Juniors, originally planned for Bulgaria, was cancelled due unforeseen reasons.
Following the recent WAKO Board meeting in Abu Dhabi, Italy was confirmed as the new host for the 2026 World Championship.
The event will take place from 18–27 September 2026 in Jesolo (VE), Italy.
Further details will be provided by the local organizing committee and WAKO as soon as they become available.

These are important dates for the registration process for the WAKO World Kickboxing Championships for youth, to be held in Jesolo, Italy, from 18-27 September 2026.

Important note: all National federations participants: athletes, coaches, referees, VIP’s, medical officials, media personnel, and supporters must have WAKO sport ID and be registered through dedicated platform!

Appointment of Roy Baker as ARISF Executive Board Member

ARISF Executive Board has approved appointment of Mr. Roy Baker, WAKO President, as a Member of the ARISF Executive Board for the current term until 2029.

Mr. Raffaele Chiuli, ARISF President, congratulated on this appointment, especially thanking to M. Roy Baker for his continued commitment to ARISF and its Members.
"We look forward to working closely with you and to the valuable contribution you will bring to the Executive Board", said Chiulli.

WAKO President Baker said:

"I am honored and sincerely grateful to the President and the ARISF Board for the trust and confidence they have placed in me through my appointment to the ARISF Executive Board.

I accept this responsibility with great humility and a clear understanding that this role is one of service. To contribute to the continued growth and unity of the Olympic-recognised sports family, and to help strengthen the important role that our federations play in inspiring and serving athletes around the world.
