🏆⛳ GRANNY CUP & FOUR PAWS CUP 🐾🏆

What a beautiful day of golf we had on Tuesday, 22 September, as the Paarl Ladies battled it out for the Granny Cup and Four Paws Cup! ☀️⛳

The Granny Cup holds a very special place in the Paarl Ladies Golf calendar. Jane Grey generously donated the cup in celebration of the birth of her grandchild, Mark, in 1997. Almost three decades later, this wonderful tradition continues — and so do the serious bragging rights that come with winning it! 😄🏆

We were especially delighted to welcome Jane all the way from Robertson to join us for the day and to do the prizegiving herself. It was wonderful having her with us and being able to celebrate the special history behind the cup together. ❤️

A big thank you to Jane for making the trip to Paarl and to everyone who participated in making the day such a memorable one.

The Granny Cup tradition lives on — and those bragging rights are still very much alive! 😉🏆

Our Beginner Golf Coaching Program is specifically designed for beginners and includes coaching on the basics of the swing and short game.

It is a fun, relaxed way to learn the basics in small groups, with plenty of encouragement along the way.

🏌️‍♀️ 26th Annual Ladies Interschools Golf Day

On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, the Paarl Ladies Division proudly hosted the 26th Annual Ladies Interschools Golf Day, once again celebrating the legendary interschools rivalry between Paarl Gimnasium and Paarl Boys' & Girls' High.

We were treated to a perfect day, outstanding golf, wonderful camaraderie, and exceptional sportsmanship both on and off the course.

Congratulations to Paarl Girls' High School on a well-deserved victory! What a fitting gift and bonus during your 150th anniversary celebrations.

A heartfelt thank you to all the players, supporters, sponsors, and volunteers who made this special day possible. It is your enthusiasm and commitment that continue to make this event one of the highlights of the interschools calendar.

Here's to 26 years of friendship, tradition, and unforgettable memories. We are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back next year for another fantastic day on the fairways!

🏌️‍♂️⛳ South vs West Tournament at Pinnacle Point! ⛳🏌️‍♀️

Once again, this tournament proved to be an outstanding success, bringing together 100 players for three unforgettable days of great golf, friendly rivalry, and lasting memories.

A heartfelt thank you to every player for your enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and participation. Congratulations to the South Team on claiming this year's trophy! 🏆

A special thank you to Litha for taking the lead and helping make this event such a memorable success. Your dedication and hard work are truly appreciated.

To everyone who contributed—thank you to the West Team for the incredible prizes, SKIN Aesthetic Spa, our Ryder Cup Captains, the Pinnacle Point team, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this tournament such a wonderful celebration of competition, camaraderie, and friendship.

As we look ahead, 2027 will be extra special as we celebrate the 5th anniversary of this incredible tournament. Since its inception in 2023, the Ryder Cup has grown from strength to strength, and we're excited to see it continue to flourish for many years to come.
