Congratulations to 3 of our PCC members who completed the Prescient Freedom Challenge this weekend! 27km's around Robben Island to respect Freedom Day and Nelson Mandela's jail time there. The conditions were excellent and the racing was hard!

Wrapping up a successful WCCU Team performance at SA Sprints. Leighlin added to her 1000m win, with Silver 🥈 in the 200m, and Gold 🥇in the 2000m and 500m 🎉 We are super proud of her and the team performance!

Congratulations to Leighlin, who won the Girls u10 1000m! Gold in the SA Sprints 🥇 @ Roodeplaat Dam. PCC is very proud of you!

Good luck to our PCC Juniors who are competing in the SA Sprint Champs at Roodeplaat Dam in Pretoria. There are 300 entrants across Juniors & Seniors at the Sprints. Our team is competing in u10-u16. Ons is trots op julle! Good luck!

TIPS FROM ONE OF THE BEST

Irishman David Horkan arrived in South Africa this week to take part in the 2024 Berg River Canoe Marathon and qu**ky made use of the knowledge of 1988 winner Maynardt Marais. The two were spotted tripping the from Paarl to Lady Loch on Friday.

Horkan is a former Devizes to Westminster winner and will be competing in his first Berg River Marathon from Wednesday to Saturday next week.
