Invitational teams are often invited to attend the annual SACD/SACF tournaments, and these usually include teams from the neighbouring countries, such as Namibia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Namibia etc. SACD Squash continuously focuses on squash development in areas, outside the major centres. Development focuses on representative squash, including deaf squash, ladies squash, players from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, junior squash and masters squash (amongst others). The SACD areas incorporate the SRSC newly upadted white paper, and aims to develop a healthy nation, through active and healthy lifestyles. Accessibility to squash, is continuously being improved and exposure to the sport is a high priority in South Africa, for all players, administrators and participants.
