The beautiful Karkloof Road between Howick and out to the end of the Karkloof tar road is a popular and scenic section of undulating asphalt that is enjoyed by local cyclists on a regular basis but now will be shared with many more who can take up the challenge of the 80km (double lap) or 40km (one lap) race distances.
