Incredibly thankful for a fun weekend of running!

From running the Standard Bank Business Relay in Bloemfontein with awesome Bloemfontein Striders ladies and Standard Bank SA teams 🥇🥇 to a special SPARWomensJozi race in Joburg with Antoiné Ebertsohn. It once again shows that running takes you places and really builds meaningful relationships!

Truly grateful for this wonderful community💙💚!

Thank you Marita Meyburg and Trends and Treasures for this new challenge and awesome opportunity to create something that is actually good enough to be at an exhibition! Louise Monni Howard, thank you for making this one a reality. I would definitely not have managed it without you!!! 🤍

If you are in the Bloemfontein area go and check out the awesome August planter exhibition at Kotzé Art Gallery. So many beautiful hidden treasures to find! ✨

Although running is often seen as one of the most individual sports in the world, for me, it has always been a team sport. Over the next few weeks, I want to celebrate those who have been part of the journey with me—a journey that began 13 years ago when I was a first-year student at the UFS.

Running has given me the opportunity to meet people from many different walks of life. It has allowed me to experience things that I would never have experienced otherwise, and it has taken me across the world.

Estean Badenhorst CFP® , thank you for always being in my corner and bringing out the best in me wherever we’ve raced together. Thank you for investing yourself in every race as if it were your own and for inspiring others through your leadership and abilities. Thank you for using your talents to help me become a better runner as well. 🫡

Recently, I have found that some of the greatest satisfaction I have ever experienced comes from creating something where there was once nothing.

The last few months have been challenging, and if there is one thing clay has taught me, it is that almost anything in life can be repaired, created, or transformed into something beautiful.

Sometimes we face situations that are already perfect and need no changing. More often, however, cracks begin to form, small imperfections appear, or things simply don’t turn out the way we had imagined. During those times, we may need to fill the cracks, smooth over the blemishes, or even start from the beginning and build something entirely new.

There is always hope. Just like clay, every situation in life has potential. But, just as with clay, it is ultimately up to the potter what the finished piece will become. Some situations require precision and patience, while others call for firmer, more decisive hands.

The most important thing to remember is that the responsibility lies with us. Whether you are a potter or simply navigating life, we are responsible for what we create with our lives.
