RMF in partnership with Seshego circuit sports committee hosted a second annual Chess tournament at Samuel Thema primary school on Saturday 02 September 2023. Approximately 50 learners from 9 schools took part in the one day knock out competition.

DELAYED POST: On Saturday we spent the day at Kgotsoro village supporting the Mogalakwena Local Football Association stream D - under 17 boys league as it came to an end.

Mphiwa Young Stars FC from Galelia village were crowned the 2022/23 champions. It was the first league in the Matlala area under Mogalakwena District since 1994.

RMF contributed gold, silver and bronze medals as well as trophies.

Yesterday, 15 October, we held the RMF Games 2022 soccer championship finals for all five (5) categories at the Seshego stadium ground B.

RMF Games took place last month and we could not get to play soccer finals due to circumstances beyond our control.

We also used the event to warn all players and young people present about the dangers of using drugs.

The overall results are as follows:

RMF held the second annual RMF Games at Seshego stadium on the 24th & 25th September 2022. This year we only featured soccer & tennis.

All top 8 soccer finals in all 5 categories (under 11, 13, 15, 17 males & under 19 females) will be played next month. Teams that are through to the finals are as follows:

RMF in partnership with Schools Sports hosted a ladies soccer tournament for high schools within the Seshego Circuit earlier today at Mmasesha Primary School's sports ground.

RESULTS
1. Maseala Progressive High School
2. Makgofe High School
3. Molautsi Secondary School

The event also included 2 categories of indigenous games: kgati and morabaraba.

Jomo Mabotja Foundation also sponsored the ladies soccer tournament for primary schools. The winning team in this category is Mokati Primary School.
