To all lovebirds all over the world, please don't divorce your partners because that they are obese. It's not too late, start now to take part in any physical activity. You can hire a personal fitness instructor, go to a gym, cycling, road running and even walking.
Males can also gain a lot of weight especially after a new job, promotion, a new girlfriend, a new car, having enough money to buy liquor and even entertaining ladies, sxually satisfied, be in love with a partner who doesn't ask his whereabouts and dictate to him
It is normal for a female to gain weight. They usually gain a lot of weight during pregnancy and after giving birth, after their weddings, after getting a new job and even after getting a new boyfriend who is financially balanced.
It is their duty to take care of their bodies to avoid the risk of chronic diseases like heart attack, high blood pressure, stroke and sugar diabetes. It is normal to have at least 4% of body fat in females for menstrual cycle to take place.
Guys please encourage your partners to take part in physical activities and trim those beautiful bodies. Please don't leave your wives and run after young children, you can also help your partners so that they can wear stomach outs, and mini skirts.
Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables.
In conclusion please eat a healthy and balanced diet. It's useless to train hard and still eat junk foods.

An athlete's body should be well developed physically, meaning the skeletal system, neuromuscular system, etc. We sometimes concentrate on the upper body and and ignore the lower part, and ended up with an unbalanced development. You have gained a lot of weight with a big tummy, buttocks, b***s attached to lean legs. The legs cannot carry this weight as a result you suffer a lot from angle injuries. You can play rugby or wrestling and weigh more than 100 kg, but you should exercise on daily basis. A slender must not have a big belly or a gigantic athlete with thin legs while well developed at the upper abdomen. Let us look at some of our martial artists, e.g. Jean Claude Van Damme and Jet Li. They are both physically fit. Their fitness level is 99.99%. Your BMI ( Body Mass Index ) must be between 20 and 30. If your BMI is less than 20 you are lean and if is over 30 you are obese.
Let us do an example of a billionaire below.
The metric formula accepts height measurements in meters and weight in kilograms. If you know your height in centimeters only, divide that number by 100 to convert it to meters.
For example, a person who is 170 cm tall is 1.7m tall (170 ÷100 = 1.70m ).
Using the metric formula is even easier than the imperical method as is a two step process.
Multiply your height by itself.
Divide your weight in kilograms by the value caculated in step 1.
The resulting number is your BMI.
Pizza weighs 150kgs and 1.8m tall. She wants to know if she is overweight.
First we multiply Pizza's height by itself.
1.8 × 1.8 = 3.24
Next we divide Pizza's weight by her height in meters just calculated.
150 / 3.24 = 46.3
Pizza's BMI is 46.3
We compare this value to the weight categories listed on the BMI table and find that she is obese.

There are some habits and cultural practices which we misunderstood. In the early 50s until around 80s, Africans were not comfortable to consult either at the hospital or surgery. Nowdays most of our community members they go to see professionals even at clinics. Even though we think that they are up to date, but they don't know when to consult at a clinic, surgery or hospital. An athlete is having cramps after the lockdown break in training. Colleagues and whereabouts refer the athlete to a doctor. The athlete is suffering from muscle soreness. First the athlete should have consulted a Kineticist who would have refered him/her to a Doctor or Physiotherapist. In short you can't take a healthy person for postmortem examination and a dead body for consultation. In most cases we claim that we know whereas we don't even have a clue. Please make sure that you know your height and body mass as I will be discussing BMI. Keep on training.

This is a cluster of conditions that occur together, increasing the risk of heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes. These conditions include, high blood sugar, excess body fat especially around the waist, increased blood pressure and abnormal triglyceride or cholesterol levels. This condition is closely linked to overweight or obesity and inactivity.
If you have one of these conditions doesn't necessarily mean that you have metabolic syndrome. But it mean that you have a greater risk of serious disease. If you develop more of these conditions, your risk of complications, such as heart disease and type 2 diabetes, rises even higher. This just show you how important to maintain body weight. Being inactive and overweight is the starting point of health problems and so many diseases. Stop the disease before it starts by following the correct dietary guidance.
