Wat ’n ongelooflike viering van gees, trots, sportmanskap en samehorigheid!
Die Newton-Eeufees Derbyweek met ons vriende van Laerskool Mount Pleasant Primary School was werklik een vir die boeke.
Van die eerste geesvang-oomblikke tot die laaste wedstryd het ons gesien hoe twee skole saam ’n tradisie bou wat nog lank onthou sal word.
🎥Herleef die glimlagte, die passie, die energie en die spesiale oomblikke wat hierdie geleentheid so besonders gemaak het. Elke oomblik vertel ’n storie van trots, vriendskap en ’n gedeelde liefde vir skoolsport…
Ons wil ook ’n reuse dankie sê aan ons ongelooflike vennootskappe wat saam met ons hierdie droom moontlik gemaak het. Julle ondersteuning, betrokkenheid en geloof in ons Newtons maak ’n werklike verskil. Julle is deel van die storie wat ons saam bou.
Baie dankie aan elke Newton, elke Mountie, ouer, onderwyser, afrigter, venoot en ondersteuner wat hierdie onvergeetlike naweek moontlik gemaak het. Groot dank aan die ongelooflike trompoppie optrede Algoa Majorettes Eastern Cape Majorette and Cheerleading Association, julle het ons dag so spesiaal gemaak!
Ons bedank ook vir Luister FM se Ettiene Calitz, Ian Diedericks en John Dirker, dat jul die dag saam met ons spandeer het en so mooi saamgevat het.
Dit was meer as net ’n derby… dit was ’n viering wat nie net die verlede eer nie, maar ook die hede en die toekoms inspireer, waar oud en jonk
hande vat om die storie van Laerskool Newtonpark voort te dra.
