When 150 young judokas stepped onto the mat at MJ’s Judo Dojo on Saturday, the focus quickly shifted from medals to maturity.

On Saturday the 5th of September, MJ's Judo Dojo hosted their term 3 interschools Judo tournament in Port Elizabeth. Whale of a Time Playschool in Jeffreys Bay had 3 participants, Luandre Koch, Ayden Kotze and Zian Maritz, who attend Judo on Thursdays at their school from 12pm to 12:30pm. The 3 young fighters walked away with medals and cupcakes after competing in the Mini Judo division for 3 to 5 year olds. Over 40 mini Judoka from the region took part in the tournament, and an additional 142 ranging from 6 years old to veterans in the senior competition. Well done to the Whale of a Time Judoka! You did your school very proud

On Saturday 5th September, MJ's Judo Dojo hosted our Term 3 Interschools Judo Tournament at 2377 Villiers Road, Walmer. The tournament was a massive success with over 40 Mini Judoka (ages 3 to 5) and more than 120 senior Judo players (6yrs to adults) who took part. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment!
