What a privilege it is to have insight into our history.
A special thank you to Malcolm for sharing this incredible piece of Greenbushes Cricket Club heritage with us. The photo, dating back to around 1950 to 1955, captures a proud moment in the club’s journey.
In the picture is Mr Melcolm Brown’s father, Eric P Brown, second from the right in the front row.
Moments like these remind us of the legacy and tradition that continue to shape our club today.

Chasing 188 for the win, Greenbushes showed great composure under pressure. JP. Snyman standing out with a composed 42 not out, while R. Ge**er backed him up nicely with 34, and J. Langfield with a 18 not out at the tail, guiding the team steadily towards the target. The chase was managed calmly and efficiently, with partnerships doing the hard work and ensuring the momentum stayed with Greenbushes.
