International coaches training camp :

Daniel “Dani” Cercols from Spain 🇪🇸
Dani brings over 25 years of professional playing experience, having competed with top clubs in Spain like CN Montjuic, CN Sabadell, CN Catalunya, CN Barcelona, and CN Sant Andreu. He played internationally in leagues across New Zealand, Brazil, France and the US, and represented Spain in numerous major tournaments, including the Summer World Championships and the US Open from 2007-2016
Since retiring in 2018, Dani has transitioned seamlessly into coaching serving as Head Coach of the Barcelona Lions Water Polo Club, as well as coaching at Westminster Academy. His impact has been immediate: he was named Sun Sentinal and Miami Herald’s boys and girls coach of the year, leading Westminster to the boys state champions.
Known for his passion, deep tactical knowledge, and dedication to developing young players on and off the pool deck.

Laura Aarts from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

Laura has been a standout goalkeeper for the Netherlands Women’s National Team, gaining recognition worldwide for her fearlessness, agility, and game intelligence. At the Paris 2024 Olympics, she was part of the Dutch squad that earned Olympic Bronze in a thrilling 11-10 victory over the USA!
Her achievements include:
Bronze medal at Paris 2024 Olympic Games
World Champion (Fukuoka 2023) and key contributor to the Netherlands reclaiming the world title for the second time
European Champion (2018), securing gold with the Dutch team at continental level
On the club front, Laura has enjoyed success across Europe, including winning the LEN Trophy and LEN Super Cup in 2018 while playing for Dunaújváros, before returning to the Netherlands to join Sabadell alongside other elite players.
Elite goalkeeping expertise: mastering pressure situations with composure
Tactical read and leadership: teaching defensive structure and positional awareness
Connection with young athletes: mentoring with empathy, purpose, and motivational drive
