Some snippets from the SA Trials and National Clubs Competitions that took place over the weekend, 7-9 August! 🤸‍♀️

We are so very proud to announce (along with the fact that we obtained quite a few overall level winner trophies) that...Mandy’s remains the National Clubs Champions for 2026!!!!🏆 🥇

It was an amazing competition and such a valuable experience for our younger gymnasts. For some, this was their very first competition – and their first opportunity to compete against gymnasts from all around the country 🇿🇦

We loved watching them build their confidence, gain experience, challenge themselves and develop resilience throughout the weekend. We couldn’t be prouder of every gymnast who stepped onto the floor and gave it their all💚💙

A MASSIVE thank you to all the Mandy’s families who volunteered, helped with setting up and packing away, supported our gymnasts, and of course, made sure everyone was on time and ready to compete. Your support makes these weekends possible, and we truly appreciate each and every one of you💚💙

A huge thank you to our outstanding World Gymnastics experts, Lee Budler and Mandy Zoonekynd, for sharing their world-class knowledge, passion, and expertise with all the coaches who attended. Your commitment to developing the sport is truly inspiring.

To every coach, gymnast, volunteer, organiser, and supporter who contributed to making this course such a success—thank you! Your enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to learn created an incredible atmosphere throughout the event.

Together, we're raising the standard of gymnastics coaching and investing in the future of our sport. We are honoured to have been part of this amazing experience and look forward to hosting many more opportunities like this.

A massive congratulations to our club members in achieving the highest award from gymnastics South Africa! Azrael was awarded male Junior trampolinist of the year, Matthew Bosch was awarded Senior male trampolinist of the year, Leolin Petersen was awarded Senior female trampolinist of the year, Lee Budler was awarded trampoline Coach of the year and Mandy Zoonekynd was awarded the legend award! We are excited to have the best in the country in our club and strive for excellence!
