HECTARES OF CHOICE | Sardinia Bay Golf & Wildlife Estate is testament to the options 100 hectares of prime real estate can offer.
Since people's tastes differ, it stands to reason that not everyone will have their eye on the same lot.
As far as Sards is concerned, some want to be as close to the golf course as possible while others prefer spending their days out of range of wayward tee shots.
Andy and Gill Dealtry, who are currently building their forever home, fall into the second category.
They selected a plot without other homes in their field of vision and it's proving an inspired decision for them.

FROM ONE HOOF TO ANOTHER | Sardinia Bay Golf & Wildlife Estate's hooved residents are its pride and joy and the striking zebra welcoming residents at the main gatehouse is the dead giveaway.
Speaking of homeowners, building a house on the property definitely requires some things to be done on the hoof as well. Just ask incoming Phase 4 couple Andy and Gill Dealtry.

WATER WONDERS | Nine years ago a paltry 2mm of rain was recorded at Sardinia Bay Golf & Wildlife Estate during the month of June.
In the same month in 2026 that figure was 113mm - all of 11mm more than the average over the last three years. In fact, it makes it the fourth wettest June in 27 winters.
Another interesting fact is that the first six months of 2026 - during which 582mm of rain fell - measured a whopping 200mm more precipitation than in the same period last year.
These are interesting stats in anyone's book.
In this case it belongs to resident Nigel Campbell, who, come rain or shine, has carefully jotted down the daily weather conditions for the better part of three decades.

WEATHER BIAS? | It is often said that Gqeberha is a city where you can experience four seasons in one day.
While the hyperbole is not lost on anyone living in the metro, Nelson Mandela Bay does in fact have some interesting weather phenomena.
Take, for example, the orographic ascent that occurs between Sardinia Bay and the nearby suburb of Mount Pleasant.
It is a big word for a basic concept, which means winds that push a mass of moist air upwards. This mass then expands, cools and condenses into clouds that bring rain.
The effect?
The course at Sardinia Bay Golf & Wildlife Estate may be in bright sunshine and teeming with golfers while people in Mount Pleasant are scrambling for their umbrellas.

TRUE COLOURS | The recent rains that have blessed Gqeberha and its supply dams have restored the bloom after several months of gloom.
Nowhere is this more apparent than at Sardinia Bay Golf & Wildlife Estate where, even in the midst of winter, what was once brown and bland are now green and giddy.
While the estate's indigenous flora hardly sheds a tear when the clouds are nowhere near, the golf course tends to wear its heart on its sleeve.
That is one of the reasons we have upgraded our borehole - 'cos a happy course is a forgiving one.
This is how the new borehole turns green into evergreen: https://tinyurl.com/srdsbrhl

ONE VISION | Sardinia Bay Golf & Wildlife is a terrific example of what can happen when people buy into a vision.
We all know that the timeline to the picture in our head can include its fair share of rainy days, but, when we focus on the end game as a collective, the bumps in the road seem so much more forgiving.
A decade down the line the mindset of the early adopters has rubbed off on everyone else who calls the estate home. What better place can there be to live than among those of a similar ilk?

IRON IS HOT! | When we talk about striking the iron while it is hot at Sardinia Bay Golf & Wildlife Estate we're not just thinking golf.
We're also referring to a good opportunity that may not last forever.
With fewer than a handful of plots available in the very last phase of the development, and set against an eye-watering return on investment over the past 10 years, we think it pretty much applies to the here and now.
So, if your dream lifestyle home straddles the oceanside, which is a Marine Protected Area in itself, these phase-four plots in Gqeberha should be your very definition of hot property.
If so, let's talk: https://www.sardiniabayestate.co.za/contact
