In Memoriam: Nigel Bands

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nigel Bands, one of the founding members of the Grey Rugby Supporters Club, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon.

Nigel was there at the very beginning — helping to build the GRSC into the community it is today. His passion for Grey rugby and his unwavering support of the club leave a legacy that will be felt for generations, carried forward proudly by his family, who remain deeply woven into the fabric of Grey and the GRSC.

To his wife Louise, his children Nick, Debbie, Dave and Luke, and the entire Bands family — the GRSC community stands with you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Rest in peace, Nigel. Thank you for everything. 🩵
