We had an incredible time in the bush with Preston, bagging a couple of great trophies — and seeing him receive them was an amazing feeling.

A Challenging Impala Hunt

This impala ram definitely made Josh work for it!

We spotted the ram from a distance, surrounded by females and a few younger males. With that many eyes watching, we knew getting into position without being busted was going to be a challenge.

We carefully planned our stalk and slowly worked our way to the edge of the cliff, using every bit of cover we could. Josh finally got onto the sticks, settled in, and made the shot.

The ram disappeared over the hill on the opposite cliff, so we made our way across to follow up. Just over the rise, we found him — a beautiful impala ram and a well-earned trophy after a challenging stalk.

Patience, a good stalk, and a great shot to finish it off. Congratulations, Josh! 👏🦌
