I prophesy; God will mention your name to right people that will change your financial status.
β*TOPIC: CONNECTION - ALIGNMENT IN RELATIONSHIPS*
β
βhere are 5 steps you should know in a relationship that will shock you. π³π
β
β*1. ALIGNMENT IS BIBLICAL*
β
β> *Amos 3:3 - "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"*
β
βGod Himself established that a relationship cannot work without agreement. Alignment is not just about love, it is about will, values, vision, and purpose. When two people are not agreed on where they are going, every step becomes a struggle.
β
β> *2 Corinthians 6:14 - "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers..."*
β
βThis is not only about faith, but about yoking. Two oxen pulling in different directions cannot plough. If you are yoked with someone whose values, plans for the future, and family boundaries are opposite to yours, you will exhaust yourself.
β
β*Lesson:* Many people stay because of emotions, saying "he/she will change." But the Bible teaches that marriage is built on agreement, not assumption. Hope without alignment becomes divorce later.
β
β*2. RELATIONSHIP IS A TESTING PHASE*
β
βThe dating period is not for blind love, it is for testing fruit.
β
β> *Matthew 7:16-20 - "Ye shall know them by their fruits... Every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit."*
β
βBefore marriage, God expects you to test loyalty, respect, speech, trust, behavior and character. Fruit does not lie.
β
β> *1 Corinthians 15:33 - "Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners."*
β
βWho your partner listens to, how their family interferes, how they speak when angry - that is their communication. It will corrupt or build your future.
β
β*3. CHARACTER vs BEHAVIOR - THE BIBLICAL DIFFERENCE*
β
β*Behavior can be corrected, but character is the heart.*
β
β> *Proverbs 4:23 - "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."*
β> *Matthew 12:34 - "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh."*
β
βBehavior is what a person DOES. Character is what is inside the HEART. A person can change behavior for a week to impress you, but the heart always speaks eventually.
β
βWhen someone cheats and you cannot let go because you think "he/she will change" - you are led by emotions, not wisdom.
β
β> *Jeremiah 17:9 - "The heart is deceitful above all things..."*
β> *Proverbs 4:14-15 - "Enter not into the path of the wicked... Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away."*
β
βThe Bible does not say manage a wicked path, it says AVOID it. Not everyone changes. Some pretend to repent to save their reputation, but true repentance bears fruit.
β
β> *What if history repeats itself?*
β> *Proverbs 26:11 - "As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly."*
β
βWhen the same betrayal happens twice, it is no longer a mistake, it is a character. A second chance is biblical, but a pattern without repentance is foolishness.
β
β*4. TRUTH AND TRUST*
β
βA relationship must be tested in bad times, not good times.
β
β> *Proverbs 27:5-6 - "Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend..."*
β> *Ephesians 4:25 - "Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour..."*
β
βThe question is not how your partner acts when everything is good, but: *How honest is your partner when caught in wrong?*
β
βIf he lies, justifies, blames you, or hides - trust is broken.
β
β> *Psalm 31:6 - "I have hated them that regard lying vanities..."*
β
βA relationship without trust is useless.
β
β> *Proverbs 25:19 - "Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint."*
β
βJust like giving meat to a man without teeth - it cannot function.
β
β*5. THE FINAL DECISION - EMOTION vs WISDOM*
β
β> *Proverbs 14:1 - "Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands."*
β> *Proverbs 4:7 - "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom..."*
β
βYou have two choices: Build your future on emotions and spend a lifetime trying to fix a broken marriage, or build it on wisdom, plans, values and godly standards.
β
βIgnoring godly alignment leads to consequences:
β
β *Galatians 6:7 - "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."*
β
βYou will reap anxiety, depression, and stress, and you may end up blaming innocent people for a harvest you planted.
β
β*CONCLUSION:*
β
βDon't marry potential. Marry pattern. Marry fruit. Marry character that is already aligned with God's will for your life.
