More kilometres doesn’t mean more fit.
It means more tired.
The endurance world has a volume obsession — and it’s quietly killing your performance.
The athletes getting faster aren’t always training the most. They’re training the smartest.
Less junk. More intention. Real recovery.
That’s the programme that gets you to the finish line stronger.

The secret to running faster?
Stop trying to run fast.
Most runners make the same mistake — they push too hard on easy days, arrive at hard sessions already cooked, and wonder why they’re not improving.
The truth is, your aerobic system is your engine. And you build a bigger engine by slowing down / training at the right intensity.
Here’s what happens when you run slow consistently:
→ Your mitochondria multiply
→ Your heart pumps more blood per beat
→ Your body learns to run on fat, not just sugar
→ Your easy pace gets faster — without trying
The athletes running 80% of their training at low intensity aren’t taking it easy. They’re building something.
Slow down to speed up. It’s not a feeling, it’s physiology.
👇 Drop your easy pace in the comments — are you running it too fast?

Kids don’t need more pressure… they need more play.
In a world where early performance is often rewarded, it’s easy to forget the long game. Pushing too hard, too soon can lead to injury, burnout, and kids walking away from sport altogether. This is, at least in our opinion, the worst thing that can happen.
The real goal?
👉 Kids who still LOVE being active at 25, 40, and beyond.
Build strong foundations. Progress slowly. Keep it fun.
Because the best athletes aren’t the ones who peak early…
They’re the ones who never stop.

The riders who improve fastest on the trails aren’t always the fittest ones.
They’re the ones who invested time in the fundamentals first — position, braking, cornering — and then built their engine around those skills.
Fitness on top of solid skills is unstoppable. Fitness without skills is just arriving at the hard part faster. 😅
Save this and share it with a riding mate who needs to hear it.

Nobody loves the trainer.
But the athletes who learn to use it well? They show up to race day fitter than everyone who skipped winter training.
The secret isn’t suffering through it. It’s having a plan that makes every minute count.

That moment you jump off the bike and your legs feel like concrete blocks?
Yeah. That’s normal.
It’s called the brick effect — and every triathlete goes through it. The good news? It’s 100% trainable. Brick sessions are how you turn that suffering into speed.
Save this post and try your first brick this week. 🧱

No one tells you this before your first triathlon…
You’ll question your life choices.
You’ll wake up at ridiculous hours.
Your legs will forget how to run.
Transitions will feel like chaos.
And somehow… you’ll end up with more gear than you ever planned 😅
But here’s the truth 👇
That discomfort? That chaos? That early alarm?
That’s where the magic happens.
Because somewhere between the swim, bike, and run…
you realise you’re capable of a lot more than you thought.
And that’s why you’ll be back. Again. And again.
Thinking about your first triathlon? Let’s make it count.
