My name is Samantha Marais. I have a love and passion to teach young children and adults how to swim. It is a privilege to teach others the gift of swimming.
I have swum all my life and represented South Africa at the FINA World Cup in 2008.

Arabella is practicing "Humpty Dumpty".
In this activity in the lesson the teacher holds the swimmer by the hands as the learner hops into the water like a pin. When the swimmer is in the water the teacher will leave their hands and the swimmer needs to turn themselves around in the water and catch the wall.

At Marais Swim School we offer aqua aerobics classes every Saturday morning.
Our time slots are as follows:
07:30 - 08:15
09:30 - 10:15
10:30 - 11:15
Our groups are no more then 8 people per class to ensure each individual gets the appropriate attention.

Sharlay and Shay-Lo had a "Mommy and Me" swimming lesson today. They enjoyed their morning bonding as mother and son and learning to swim.
