Rhino Wednesday 🦏
For the first six months of 2022 approximately 82 rhinos were poached for their horns in the Kruger national park.
In state properties 210 rhinos were poached and in privately owned there 49 rhinos. This makes in total 259 rhino.
There are approximately only 27 000 rhinos left in the wild. Of these there are only 2 Northern white rhinos in the wild, Najin and Fatu both female

Rhino Wednesday 🦏😀
Today we will be focusing on the exponential increase in rhinos poached.
Over a million rhinos roamed Africa’s Savannahs 150 years ago. Today, the continent’s remaining rhinos are found only in four countries. Around 3 rhinos are killed each day for their horn.
Poaching increased exponentially since 2007. Habitant loss also contributes to the factors that leads to declining numbers of rhino populations.
All remaining rhino species are listed on the IUCN Redlist of threatened species, with 3 of these classified as critically endangered.
