World Rowing Masters Regatta 2023

We received a wonderful email from Lia Brouwer from the Netherlands, thanking the organising committee for a great event. Lia attended the regatta with her rowing partners Els van Dam and Anneloes Russel. Lia turned 80 on 4 October (Happy Birthday!) and was interviewed by a journalist from the newspaper Algemeen Dagblad. As Lia says in her email "people think it is very special when you are at this age and can row so fast that you can beat a heat of 65 +". Thank you for sharing this Lia!

Wimpie du Plessis visited WRMR2023 yesterday. She used to be President of Rowing SA and is a well known umpire on the South African rowing scene.
