Exciting news breaking in the week of our Chairman’s 79th birthday is that Dr. Kaizer Motaung will be inducted into the South African Hall of Fame on Thursday 9 November.

“Dr. Kaizer Motaung, an iconic figure in the South African sports industry, has significantly shaped the landscape of football in the nation,” the Hall of Fame said today when announcing the induction.

The induction ceremony will be held at a Gala Dinner in partnership with Tsogo Sun.

Guests, members of the media, Kaizer Chiefs management, staff, legends and development players were part of the proceedings.

A select Kaizer Chiefs legends team won the mini 5-aside tournament as part of the entertainment scheduled for the day.

“We didn’t look as sharp as we were supposed to be. On the physical side of things, I think we weren’t very sharp," Ntseki said.

"We’ve got another full week for the players to recover. If you look back at the intensity of the game, they were sharper than us.

“After losing possession, we weren’t aggressive. That is why we were second in everything. But I think on the balance of play; we applied ourselves," he added.

"In terms of structure, we just made a mistake that led to the goal. But it’s something we can work on.”
