Monties is ongelooflik trots op Ilandi van Rensburg se uitstekende prestasie by die ATKV Redenaars Semi-finaal, waar sy 'n eerste plek behaal het en deurgedring het na die ATKV-finaal!

Hierdie merkwaardige prestasie is die resultaat van ure se voorbereiding, deursettingsvermoë, selfvertroue en 'n passie vir redenaars. Ilandi se toewyding en harde werk het vrugte afgewerp en sy het weereens bewys dat sy 'n ware ambassadeur van Monties se waardes van Glo en Werk is.

Ilandi, jy maak ons ongelooflik trots. Jou prestasie is 'n inspirasie vir jou mede-Monties en 'n bewys van wat moontlik is wanneer talent en harde werk hande vat.

As we move further into competition season — and with more dancers choosing to follow SABOD’s official pathway to the IDO World Championships — we thought it important to highlight one of the key elements that helps uphold the credibility, professionalism, and integrity of SABOD competitions: our adjudicators.

This is experience.
This is professionalism.
This is accountability.

SABOD adjudication is conducted according to internationally recognised judging criteria aligned with IDO standards, with dancers assessed on:
✨ Technique
✨ Choreography
✨ Image & Presentation

In show sections, entertainment value and overall showmanship also form part of the adjudication process.

But beyond the scoresheets, SABOD’s judging system is built on fairness and transparency. Judges attend official briefings and seminars prior to competitions, and strict conflict-of-interest protocols are always followed.

To ensure impartiality, adjudicators do not judge routines they have coached or worked with directly. A rotating adjudication panel is implemented where necessary, ensuring that competitions remain ethical, credible, and fair for all dancers.

SABOD judges recognise not only performance, but also discipline, growth, artistry, and potential — supporting dancers on a meaningful competitive journey aligned with national and international standards.
