Food for thought.....
Our bodies should be a reflection of our faith. We read in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit. How well do I look after the temple, so to speak, that was entrusted to me?
Discipline goes beyond attending church — it shows up in how we care for ourselves daily. The way we nourish our bodies matters; food is fuel and meant to help us flourish. Choosing junk food constantly and neglecting movement is taking our health for granted.
Our bodies were entrusted to us for a reason, and caring for it is part of honoring that purpose.
Ask yourself, do I take my health and taking care of my body seriously, or do I abuse them?
