Bevan Garlick is a passionate young squash player making big moves. A-team for Natal in 2023, A-team for Northerns in 2024, and ranked #6 in SA!
His dedication, skill, and rapid rise make him one to watch on the South African squash scene. Bevan Garlick started playing squash just over 2 years ago. For the last 4 years he was in boarding school in Natal. In 2022 (even though he was very new at squash) he played for Natal, and ranked as the reserve for the B team. In 2023 (after only playing for just over 1 year) he made A Team. Now in 2023

Grateful for a great weekend of squash at the NJSA Open hosted by Pretoria Country Club 🙌
Well done to all the junior players who competed, especially my sister Skylar that finishes 6th in U13 - awesome matches.
I am happy to finish 5th in the U17 section and take plenty of lessons forward.

I competed in the Pretoria Country Club Club Championships and finished on a high - winning my section and taking home the Plate Cup 🏆
Hard work, consistency, and a lot of time on court paying off. Grateful for the support from coaches, club, and family as the journey continues.

This past weekend I competed in the Northerns Junior Squash 2026 Start of Season Tournament.
I’m really happy to have finished 2nd in the U16A section 🏆. Always grateful for the chance to test myself against strong players and to see the hard work paying off.
Plenty to build on as the season gets underway, and I’m excited to keep pushing forward 💪.
A special shout-out to my little sister Skylar, who competed in the U13A section and finished 5th 🌟. Proud of you!
