Progress in pole dance doesn’t happen in a straight line. 📈❌

One week you feel incredibly strong, and the next week your grip feels completely gone. It’s completely normal to feel like you’ve hit a plateau, especially when you are trying to master a challenging new grip or transition.

The secret to moving past that stuck feeling isn’t trying harder - it’s changing how you measure success.

If you are only celebrating the final shape, you are missing out on celebrating the 50 small strength milestones your body is hitting along the way. Every single tuck, every secure climb, and every slow lower-down is building the foundations for the advanced moves you want to conquer later.

Be patient with your body. It is learning a whole new language of movement. 🩰

Just an everyday moment of trying to balance the ‘business’ side with the ‘movement’ side!
When you run an aerial arts and pole studio, office hours look a little different. Sometimes you’re responding to a DM while hanging upside down from a silk, or reviewing studio schedules while gripped to a pole. It’s a wild ride, but we wouldn’t trade this ‘toxic relationship’ with entrepreneurship for anything. 😂
