Talent Africa time - during this extreme busy weekend we also participated at Talent Africa's provincial round at the Kiepersol Community Centre in Centurion. We had 5 dancers that participated and al 5 of them qualified to participate at the Nationals in the October Holiday.They had to get a High Silver and up to qualify.

LDF was invited to dance at a Church fundraiser last week Saturday. This was so much fun for all our dancers that was available to be part of this. Even though the stage was a bit small, they all coped well with it and really did a great job - from the youngest to the oldest dancer. This was the 1st time for everyone on stage with their new solos of this year and a great practise session for the upcoming competition this weekend. Well done everyone and thank you for making your time available to entertain everyone that attended the fundraiser.

Thank you to Marlien Niemand and her Church fir this opportunity. We really loved dancing there. 🌹🌟

Congratulations to Micayla Badenhorst who has done her Senior Teachers qualification in Tap, Acrobatics, Disco and Lyrical with the IDF association. It was hard work to do all 4 of these at once but with detemination, a lot of effort and hard work from your side you were ready to go.

We are all looking forward to getting your results during the IDF Awards.

The last day at Dance Fusion Get The Beat was also a great day for Micayla. She did extremely well!!

The results for Monday was:

👉Jazz Solo - Platinum - 2nd placing
👉Contemp Solo - Platinum - 2nd placing.

Congratulations Micayla - you had such a great competition with so extremely great results. All your hard worked paid off. Well done !!! 🌟🌹🏆

Micayla made us all very proud on Saturday and Sunday at Dance Fusion Get The Beat.

She reveived the following results

👉 Tap Solo - Pro Gold - 1st placing
👉Musical Theatre Solo - Platinum - 2nd placing
👉Lyrical Solo - Platinum - 2nd placing and a judges award for extending beyond self and commitment.

She also won the fouette challenge with 26 perfect fouettes!! 🤗
