HOKA Race 21.1km & 10km — Pretoria

Two Michael R. Lenhoff Athletics coached Nedbank Running Club Gauteng North (GN) athletes finished on the podium at the Hoka Half on Thursday.

Congratulations to James Chapman on his first‑place finish in the 10km Junior category and 8th place overall.

Well done also to Liesel-Mari Fritz, who secured second place in the Veterans Women category in the 21.1km race.

Strong racing and excellent results from both athletes.

Abbott World Marathon Majors — BMW Berlin Marathon 2026

All the best to Michael R. Lenhoff Athletics coached Nedbank Running Club Gauteng North (GN) athlete Johann Jacobs for tomorrow’s race.

He lines up among over 56 000 runners taking on one of the world’s fastest and most iconic marathon courses.

Johann will be the second Michael R. Lenhoff Athletics coached athlete to line up at an Abbott World Marathon Majors this year.

Three top finishes for Michael R. Lenhoff Athletics–coached athletes this past weekend.

Bongani Jele Nedbank Running Club Gauteng North (GN) returned to racing post‑Comrades at the demanding Barberton‑Makhonjwa 21.1 km, finishing 6th overall in a brilliant time of 01h12. This challenging route winds through the Barberton mountain passes.

Ingrid Lambrechts Koster Nedbank Running Club Gauteng North (GN) delivered another superb performance at the KitKat 21.1 km in Pretoria, finishing just behind former Comrades winner and fellow Master Charne Bosman to claim 2nd place in the Masters category and 6th female overall. The course featured the infamous Tom Jenkins Hill, making her result even more impressive.

Jay Henning Varsity College Emeris showed great progress in the KitKat 10 km, finishing 4th Junior and 12th female overall in a new personal best time.

WMA - World Masters Athletics Championships — Seoul, South Korea 2026

Michael R. Lenhoff Athletics is exceptionally proud to announce that Ingrid Lambrechts Koster, coached by Michael R. Lenhoff Athletics, represented Athletics South Africa Masters in three events at the 2026 WMA - World Masters Athletics Championships in South Korea.

The Championships are a World Athletics ‑sanctioned global event held biennially, bringing together more than 6,000 Masters athletes (aged 35+) from across the world. The competition features a full programme of Track & Field, Road Running, and Cross‑Country, with fields that include former international elite athletes, Olympians, and World Champions.
