The African Organisation of English-speaking Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI-E) is a voluntary association consisting 26 member-SAIs. The heads of these SAIs form the Governing Board, which is our supreme authority. We have a set of Statutes which, along with the respective regulatory provisions, clearly outline our mandate and governance arrangements. As the AFROSAI-E Executive Secretariat, we support and operationally implement the strategic vision approved by the Governing Board to make a difference in the performance of SAIs. We are committed to support and cooperate with our member SAIs to enhance their institutional capacity to successfully fulfil their audit mandates, thereby making a difference to the lives of citizens. We play a facilitative role to empower member-SAIs to optimise their audit performance by sharing information and supporting them with training, on-site support, technical advice, and guidance manuals. For the period 2020 to 2024, our four strategic goals are to:
1. Empower SAIs for greater audit impact and quality
3. Transform SAI organisational capabilities for greater impact
4. Lead by example and deliver on our mandate
