Protein Bar Bites Your Gut will LOVE 😍 (in my dream life I can eat chocolate anytime I want 😍🤤)

Protein is popping right now, while the world is focusing here don’t forget the important of what goes into these protein bars, chips, insert anything and everything that they’re slapping protein on to sell more of. So of course I had to see if there was a more whole food way to be able to enjoy the yum that’s good for the tum (ie: your gut).

I N G R E D I E N T S

- 1 cup drained and rinsed (or soaked & cooked chickpeas if you’re using raw)
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder from
- 1 TBSP Date Paste (DM me for the recipe (or use your sweetener of choice)
- Pinch of Celtic Sea Salt
- Dark Chocolate to Melt on top 🤤 (The sugar free chocolate chips from has been a winner but I also love the 70% and darker that are currently on sale at Dischem if you can spare 2 blocks 🤤
- Optional: Dash of Cinnamon, TBSP powdered peanut butter or a TBSP Cacao, Small Handful Choc Chips.

M E T H O D

- Put all your ingredients (except choc pieces or choc chips) in a food processor
- Blend until smooth
- Transfer to a glass container and fold in your choc chips if using
- Melt and pour your chocolate on top (I use a little milk and 1/2 tsp coconut oil when melting the chocolate in a microwaveable bowl).
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours OR enjoy warm microwaves for 30secomds - 1 minute depending on your preference to enjoy a fibre and protein rich satiating treat that’s good for you anytime of the day 🤤😍
