After a horrific crash at Zwartkops back in April, Taigh Janse Van Rensburg #171 spent 12 weeks in ICU and underwent two brain surgeries. But true to the warrior he is, he’s been defying every odd thrown his way. His progress has been nothing short of remarkable, and he continues to gain strength with each passing day.
This weekend marks a major milestone—Taigh will be going home for the first time in 17 weeks for a one-night ‘home trial’. It’s a moment the whole family has been looking forward to.
On Monday, he’ll be back for a follow-up CT scan and a check-in with the neurosurgeon.
The road to recovery is still long, but Taigh is showing the heart of a true champion. The love, support, and prayers from everyone have meant the world to his family—and continue to lift him through every step of this journey 💪💙
