Gustie knives is a new custom knife maker who is happy to try and tackle any needs for a blade you may have. I do this as a passion and love the work I create.

Anvil repair and hard facing

This Naginata was forged from 5160 Spring Steel. Its total length is just over 2 meters.
The fittings are brass and the wrap is paracord.

All fitting made. Final assembly check. All feeling pretty bad ass in the hand. It's total length is a whooping 2.05 metres with the blade weighing 780 grams.

My woodworking skills leveled up today. This massive thing will eventually measure 1.8 metres in length with 600 cm of blade.
It is assembled in the traditional manor.

Two separate swords. The first a Japanese naginata. A traditional pole arm. This was forged from a large round bar of K600 steel which has excellent toughness.
The second blade is a forging between myself and a friend learning to smith. It's a European bastard sword forged from an ancient old file. This blade will end up with a hamon running down the spine of it.
