Our goal each year is to bring more and more value to our runners. We want brands that add value in the world of trail runners and ORIAL OUTDOOR definitely fits the brief!

Orial Outdoor out did themselves for sure! Goodie bags were on point with their premium tog bags, waterproof backpacks and flasks! Couldn’t have picked a better brand to carry our 10 year logo 🥹

This is our second year with them and we cannot wait for the plans for 2027 😮‍💨

Karkloof Country Club - buzzing, lively, friendly, above and beyond - a few words to describe this epic venue and the wonderful people that work here.

We are always grateful to return to the familiar faces every year. No idea is too crazy or plan too outrageous, the club is forever making our dreams for the KTR come true !

Thank you Nick and the team! Always a pleasure - and what a treat to have Absa South Africa on board this year with prizes, an awesome set up and a delicious 100 miler breakfast on the Sunday welcoming all runners home 😍

What is better than a sponsor? A sponsor that aligns perfectly with our brand. Suunto South Africa is the ultimate crew and brand to have at our event.

They man the Bushwillow Aid station where 100 milers and 50 milers take refuge. The watches themselves are incredible , guiding us through our marking and race weekend without fail!

But the people behind the watches? Unreal - anyone that has stepped foot in the Bushwillow Aid station knows what we are talking about. They go above and beyond to create the vibe that anything is possible, welcome each runner with open arms and kit them out the best they can.

A few words from the ones that matter the most - the Runners of the KTR.

Few realise how much these words mean to us.

We start marking the course from the Monday - mapping out danger tape and sign boards , planning water points and ice drops , calculating and recalculating as weather changes and we need to pivot.

A storm hit our 100 miler and 50 miler runners on the Saturday and decisions to make an emergency WhatsApp group and keep runners in aid stations/shelter while the storm blew over - these calls are hard to make but we try keep everyone as safe as possible baring in mind the integrity of the race itself.
