While most of us are still reaching for our morning coffee, Coach Karl has often already put in a training run before heading off to coach a full day of Playball lessons!

This year, Karl takes on his 6th Comrades Marathon. A remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication, discipline, and commitment he brings to his love of running.

At Playball, we're fortunate to have coaches who don't just talk about healthy, active lifestyles, they live them. Coach Karl's love for sport extends far beyond the Playball field, and his passion, perseverance inspire both the children he coaches.

🌟 𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 🌟

We would like to celebrate Coach Patience, who was selected by Athletics South Africa to represent Team South Africa as an official coach at the 2026 CAA African Athletics Senior Championships in Ghana!

At Playball, we often talk about developing a love for sport, and Coach Patience is a wonderful example of someone who lives that passion both on and off the Playball pitch.

The South African team returned from Ghana as African Champions, topping the medal table with an incredible 22 medals, including 9 gold medals.

Coach Patience, we are so PROUD to have you on our team!!

Look at those faces! Our Northcliff Pre-Primary School Playballers are absolutely glowing this week. We love handing out these badges, seeing the sheer excitement as they ask "What colour is next?!" 🤩🪽

⭐️💥 Whether they’re balancing, kicking, or just running around with their friends, these Playballers are having the time of their lives and we can't wait for the next chapter of their Playball journey ⭐️💥

Badge day is officially here, and our Orban School / Orbanskool Playballers are loving every second of it! There’s something so special about seeing them show off their new colours. They are walking a little taller and smiling even wider 🤩😁

It’s not just about the badge, it’s about the journey! From the warm-ups to the big game-time wins, watching Playballers discover how much they can do (and how much fun they can have doing it!) is the best part of our week. We are so proud of them! 🪽⭐️

🧩💡 The secret ingredient to learning? Play!!

Children don't learn best by sitting still all day. They learn by moving, exploring, experimenting, making mistakes, and trying again.

Whether they're balancing on one foot, solving a challenge, working with a friend, or navigating an obstacle course, they're building skills that extend far beyond the lesson itself. Every game presents an opportunity to think, adapt, and grow.

At Playball, we love creating environments where Playballers can develop physically, socially, and emotionally while doing what they do best - having fun!

Because when learning feels like play, children can't wait to do it again. 🌟
