Advantages of fiberglass:

• The fibreglass floor coat finish is non-porous and standard white/ocean blue cannot dis-colour and is impervious to staining.

• The marine grade finishing coat has a 3% wax content, thus making it UV resistant difficult for algae to grow.

• Should a crack develop from excessive earth movement, a sectional repair would be possible. Fibreglass has it's own structural properties and can absorb thermal expansion & contraction.

• The pool uses less chemicals overall.

• The pool is warmer.

• A special fibreglass bonding resin is used prior to the lamination process, which makes it possible to achieve a stronger, long term bond than re-marbeliting.

• Low maintenance required on brushing of walls.

• Easier water treatment as there no absorption of chemicals by the fiberglass
