We are going early tomorrow to make sure the trails are in great condition for the Weekend Warriors.
Skill Up MTB will be assisting the organisers at this event at B'sorah Trails with making sure the route is in prime condition for riders out for some adventure.

B'sorah Trails is open from Sunday to Friday. Saturdays are reserved for permit holders and overnight guests. Skill Up MTB will however be open to taking small groups on Saturdays by appointment only. Contact Sean on 0827571749.

The launch at B'sorah Trails went down like a Helium balloon. No matter how warm the weather got, the riders couldn't get enough of the trails - repeating them over and over right up until the midday heat set in. It's a good thing we only used the closest, shorter lines for the launch. Well done to everyone.
Mattie Viviers took the ladies crown while Bradon Webster powered his way around a number of times to be the fastest guy on the day! Both of them won an annual permit. Great stuff!
Our youngest rider Liam Marnewick (7) had an amazing day out completing the full route twice with his very patient mom, Kelly Marnewick - who then went out and set her own times in the heat of the day. Liam also managed to grab a month permit in the lucky draw. Watch out for this young shredder in the coming years!
The initial Strava times are now set. It's open season for all challengers even if you only want to race to better yourself. We've compiled the times from the launch. If your name is missing it is likely that you either left early, didn't run Strava or there was some other technical issue which we'll be happy to remedy if you contact us. We are confident that the fastest 3 are correct.
I'd like to thank everyone who had a hand in this project. Anton Blignaut who had the concept of adding some fun lines into B'sorah's trails and who was there every weekend working hard - building, creating and fixing. To Nicholas Durr and family as they trusted us, assisted with labour, equipmant and building materials. And to my wife Maureen who supported every step of the way and who was there almost every weekend building alongside us. The reason she wasn't in more photos and vids was because she was usually behind the camera. Also to the sponsors of the launch Cycles United: Melo Velo Cycles & Finish Line Cycles.

'Kudu Koppies' is not as close to the trailhead as Nyala Loop but the start is under a km away. Great fun to ride.
Work on the trails, adding more flow and new features, is an ongoing process so we will keep on improving them.
📸 Thanks to my wife Maureen for doing the cellphone filming on Sunday! Anton and I were fairly exhausted from trail building so we only managed a single take on most sections.

We may have been quiet on social media lately, but we’ve been quite busy sculpting some sweet Enduro lines at B’sorah Trails in Haartbeeshoek. The first lines are now ready for your tyres to hit the dirt and explore.
The original marathon trails are still suited to all skills levels, however, we have introduced a heap of fun features on every line to thrill experienced Enduro riders. Look out for video edits to follow soon.
Join us on Sunday 26th September for a fun trail shredding launch day. Strava 'Local Hero' honours are up for grabs along with some random giveaways and rewards. More details to follow on Skill Up MTB.
