It's time to show the Route Setters some love ❤️
It goes without saying that the routes of a climbing gym are the most important part. It is the product that gyms sell.

Now we are inviting 10 setters from around the country to set against each other😉 different from setting a usual competition, setters will be give restrictions and a framework to produce 2 boulders. They then choose one of their 2 boulders to be part of the comp. Boulders are scored by the public and will be ranked on authenticity, flow/movement, astetics, and magic ✨️

Bots and Holds will be hosted at on Friday the 31st of October. The gym will be closed during the day for setting and will be open from 4.

You are invited to come show the setters some love, and try some epic blocs set just for you ❤️

There will be the usual student special, beats by Bae, and regular day passes still apply🙏🏻

The setters were all given the same challenges and had to put up 2 problems. They then selected their best to put forward for the community to sample and vote on their favorite problem.

Very very fun event for both the setters and the community ❤️

We have some groovy setter in the mix coming from all over to take part in our first ever bolts and holds invetational 🤗

We have 10 amazing route setters coming together to show off their skills🤙🏻

Come have a climb on some lekker blocs. Boulders are open at 4pm and you can climb till 7 30 pm. We will then all vote on our favorite problems and see who is the first ever winner of the bolts and holds invetational .

This comp is a celebration of all setters, to give them the lime light and put a face to the blocs we regularly climb.

We are going to keep it simple. The communitiy climbs the boulders between 4 pm and 8 pm, and we vote on the best bloc. Winning setter gets all the glory and walks away with R1 500 cash prize 🤙🏻

A sweet little farm wall in Limpppo🤗
This Frankenstein wall is quite special. A clean and simple design built and refurbished with parts of the original Wits boulder cave. The owner was also involved in building the cave, and we love to see how these panels have come full circle 🔥

Mad psyched on outdoor climbing, it’s always a lekker day at the crag with Dean 😎
