Nothing like some good abdominal work to keep you feeling strong during the lockdown πŸ’ͺ🏼

This is a simple, yet effective series of abdominal exercises that'll really work those abs. Make sure you always keep your ribs closed through these and exhale as you lift your head and chest. Your hands are great support for your neck, but always check your elbows stay wide and just in your periphery

Just your average, every day video of hip work on a foam roller πŸ˜‰

In my dance life my hips and legs have always been an important factor. These exercises are great to work on hip flexibility and mobility as well as the stability and support we need from the abdominals and pelvis when involving our legs in exercise or dance. With the roller under your lower back you are lying in spinal flexion, engaging those lower abdominals and pelvic floor muscles to maintain this flexion and control. Taking the legs into big ranges we stretch hamstrings, inner thighs, hip flexors and hip extensors while still working into lengthened strength in those muscles groups.
