We’re Looking for a Dancewear Fashion Designer / Costume Maker!

Are you a skilled designer with a passion for dance and performance wear? We want you!

Who We’re Looking For:
A talented fashion designer or clothing maker who can create high-quality dancewear and performance costumes. You should have experience working with stretch fabrics, and thrive under pressure, especially during large competitions mid-year and year-end.

Position:
Independent contract role — you will manage your own workflow and consultations, collaborating with our studio as needed.

What You’ll Do:
Design and construct dancewear tailored to individual dancers or groups
Work with stretch materials to ensure comfort, flexibility, and performance
Conduct fittings and consultations to achieve perfect fit and style
Manage timelines and deliver multiple costumes under tight deadlines
Provide last-minute adjustments or repairs as needed

What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in dancewear or performance clothing
Expertise in stretch fabrics and garment finishing
Strong consultation and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
Availability for fittings and consultations throughout the year

Bonus:
Previous work with competitive dance teams or performance groups
A portfolio showcasing dancewear or costume creations
