We have different classes to suit the individual, with different levels of experience and intensity. However, all classes are a tough workout as well as very technical. At BJMMA we are committed to promoting the highest level of fitness and a positive mental attitude. We achieve this through high quality Mixed Martial Arts training, combining Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as our unique Ladies only Cardio Kickboxing. BJMMA is run by Bobby and Jeni Karagiannidis and was established in the year 2000, offering mixed martial arts within Johannesburg. Bobby has been training in martial arts since 1992 focusing on Mixed Martial Arts since 1999. He has competed internationally and nationally in Mixed Martial Arts and kickboxing events. Bobby is a certified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 3rd Degree Black Belt under Master Roberto Atalla (5th degree), and a member of Rio Grappling Club. All MMA, BJJ and Kids classes are personally run by Bobby. The classes are designed to take you from being a total beginner to a competent Mixed Martial Artist. Learn all the basics in the intro class and work your way up to full MMA in the advanced class. As well as mixed martial arts training Bobby also teaches a specialized Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class in Johannesburg.

Whether you are the average guy that wants to train for fitness, self-defense and personal growth, or you'd like to be a competitive fighter. We have separate classes to suit you and your goals. Jeni has been training in martial arts since 1993 moving to Mixed Martial Arts and Kickboxing in 1999. She has been teaching Ladies Kickboxing since then. Her classes involve authentic kickboxing training and techniques without the sparring. The classes include punching and kicking bags, push-ups, ab work as well as leg toning exercises giving you a full body workout. She has a passion and energy for the sport second to none. This passion comes out in every class she has. If she's not in there hitting the bags and doing the class with everyone, she's up and down the studio motivating and pushing all the ladies to their full potential.
