Dabulamanzi Canoe Club hosts a classic 2 day K1 river race on the Liebenbergsvlei river in the Free State province in September each year. What you can expect at the race:

- 2 days of excellent river racing on fast flowing, clean water
- A competitive field made up of Gauteng's best paddlers (the rest of SA)
- 35km's a day with a number of challenging yet manageable grade 2 rapids to keep things interesting
- An ideal qualifier for the Hansa Fish River Canoe Marathon
- Beautiful scenery & glorious warm weather (almost guaranteed)
- First class Free State hospitality at the overnight stop
