Zululand wishes the team tight lines

07/10/2026

The stage is set in Sodwana Bay!

Wishing our two Zululand teams, Zululand Pink and Zululand Black, all the very best as they proudly represent Zululand in the 2026 SADSAA Light Tackle Billfish Interprovincial & Interclub.

Three days, big fish and plenty of competition ahead. Fish hard, fish smart and enjoy every moment!

Good luck, Zululand! Tight lines!

ZULULANDERS off OMAN. 🇿🇦

A proud moment for Zululand as Marius Reyno Botha and Rudi Moolman were officially capped as members of the Protea Team at a prestigious capping ceremony on Monday, before setting off on their journey to Oman.

The destination is the Jebel Sifah International Fishing Championship 2026, where they will join anglers from around the world for an exciting few days of international competition, targeting some serious offshore game, including billfish and giant tuna.

Following an eight-hour flight and a quick layover in Doha, Qatar, the team will continue to Muscat and make their way to Oman, ready for the challenge ahead.

From Zululand to the international stage, we are incredibly proud to see Zululand anglers representing our region and our country.

Go well, boys. Tight lines and make Zululand proud! 🇿🇦
