THENJIWE MAJAKAJAKA

Thenjiwe who has 13 years' experience in the Occupational Health and Wellness is instrumental in the planning and coordinating of medical surveillance & wellness projects at company sites. Registered as an audiometrist with SASOHN. Organising and controlling the project activities, under the direction of the Operational Manager, she ensures the smooth flow of logistical factors, assists with reporting and monitors the progress and quality of work being performed by medical staff. Thenjiwe effectively and accurately communicates relevant project information to keep clients and the project team up-to-date with the progress, ensuring the clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

JULIA MHONE
Julia has 6 years of experience in the Occupational Health setting. Registered as an audiometrist with SASOHN. She is able to inter-act well with clients in a professional and friendly manner.

LEAGH MITCHELL
Occupational Health Consultant

Qualifications: B-Tech in Occupational Health, Nursing Diploma. Registered with SANC. Membership with SASOHN.

Since joining the team in 2017, Leagh has made a real difference to improving service delivery standards. She has created many tools to assist and guide the teams to perform at International Best Practice Standards. Her passionate commitment to occupational healthcare stems from a natural calling towards nursing – it’s a career that began in 1991. Continuous upholding of standards within the clinics with regular audits fall under Leagh’s responsibilities, which she manages and monitors with efficiency.

DR THOKO NGCOBO
Occupational Medicine Practitioner

Qualifications: MBCHB-Medunsa 2000; Diploma in Occupational Health and Medicine- University of Pretoria 2011, Dispensing Course-Sefako Makgatho University 2016. Registered with HPCSA. Membership with SASOM.

Previously employed at Rahima Moosa Hospital, Principal Medical Officer/OMP responsible for staff medical surveillance and chairperson of Occupational Health and Safety. Extensive experience in different industries i.e: food, health, call centre, mining and other manufacturing industries e.g. CONSOL, Simba, Pfizer, SAB, PPC, EDCON, Autolive, AARDMINING, Sasko, Bayport, Castle Lead works, Sunspray Food Ingredients, Makro, Bokomo, Weirs minerals, Marco polo, Dickon Hall, SIG, Mediclinic etc.

Managing Director

Qualifications: SAMTRAC (Distinction)-NOSA 2013; Full Master’s degree in Nursing (HIV management programmes)-DUT 2012; Bachelor's Degree in nursing (Occupational Health-Cum Laude)-DUT 2005; Dispensing License Certificate-Medunsa 2002; Diploma in Nursing (General, Psychiatric and Community) and Midwifery (Distinctions)-Natal College of Nursing 2002; Enrolled Nurse (Distinction)-St Aidan’s Nursing College 1997.

Achievements: Awarded Dean’s Merit Award for Academic Excellence for Best Cum Laude Occupational Health Student 2005. Certificate of achievement awarded for Best Occupational Health Clinician in 2006 at Toyota Manufacturing. Featured in career profile in the Post Newspaper 28 July 2006. Interviewed on ETV Sunrise for World AIDS Day on 26/11/12. Interviewed on 4-5-2020 by NewzRoom Afrika on Workplace preparedness for COVID-19 as an Occupational Health Practitioner expert. Registered with SANC. Membership with SASOHN.

CLIVE PILLAY
Operations Director

Qualifications: Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing-OCSA 2016 (including emergency care & other short courses), Diploma in Clinical Nursing Science (PHC), Health Assessment, Treatment and Care -UKZN 2012; Diploma in Nursing (General, Psychiatric and Community) and Midwifery-Natal College of Nursing 2002–
Achievements: Nestle floating trophy for best midwifery student; Sexual and Reproductive Health Certificate -DOH 2007; Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses; HIV counselling and Testing Certificate -URC 2010; Clinical HIV and AIDS Training Programme for Nurses (NIMART)-UKZN 2011; Audiometrist Course -ACTS 2013; Vision Screening Certificate -ACTS 2013; Dispensing Licence Certificate-University of Pretoria 2005.
