When it comes to shape and structure.

In rugby even more so 🏉💪

"We create patterns to make players feel more comfortable because order is more creative than chaos." - Pep Guardiola

Guardiola’s point is that structure is not the enemy of creativity — it’s the foundation of it. By creating clear patterns of play, players gain reference points: where teammates will be, what options are likely to appear, and how the team wants to solve recurring game situations. This reduces uncertainty and cognitive load, allowing players to act faster and with more confidence. When players feel secure within an organised framework, they are freer to improvise, take risks, and express themselves at the right moment. In this sense, order creates the conditions for creativity to emerge consistently, rather than relying on random or chaotic actions.

DAY 4 🏉

Another massive day of learning and growth!

Today we shifted our focus to Attack & Defence, breaking down the fundamentals that build smart rugby players.

⚡ Attack: Running with purpose, improving vision, identifying space, and making better decisions with ball in hand.

🛡️ Defence: Understanding a defensive system, communicating louder, trusting the players around you, and becoming more connected as a team.

One of the biggest lessons today:
“Run into the space, not the face.”
The first rule of contact is to avoid contact by spotting and attacking space.

Every session these future stars are growing in confidence, rugby IQ, and teamwork.

Here’s a look at today’s highlights!

DAY 3 DONE & DUSTED! 🏉

What another massive day at camp! The intensity keeps building, and so does the standards! 💪

Today’s focus was all about winning the physical battle:
•Explosive ball carries into contact
•Fast, accurate ball placement
•Dominating the cleanout
•Hunting turnovers and poaching at the breakdown

We then broke into positional groups, where every player sharpened the skills that matter most for their position. Every rep had a purpose, every drill challenged the players, and the improvement is showing day by day.

The future is looking bright!
These young stars are putting in the work, embracing the challenge, and growing in confidence with every session.

Sit back, enjoy today’s highlights, and watch these future stars in action!

Day 3 of our Winter School Holiday Rugby Camp was another important step in the development of our young players. 💪🏉

Session 1 focused on the foundations that make a big difference in the game — in-contact skills and quality ball presentation. The ability to win collisions, stay strong in contact, and provide quick, clean ball is vital.

The focus then moved into individual positional skills and unit skills, allowing players to develop the specific techniques needed for their roles while understanding how they fit into the bigger team picture.

Another great day of learning, competing, and growing as rugby players. 🔥🏉
