.fisher.sa and his family spent the Easter weekend on the bank, putting in a proper session under some tough conditions. 🎣

Fishing at Middelburg Dam, they had to deal with heavy angling pressure, plenty of boats on the water, and thick grass throughout the dam — definitely not an easy outing.

Even with that, they managed to grind it out:
• 10 fish landed
• 5 lost in the w**d
• Biggest fish: 9kg for Stephen
• 8.4kg for his father-in-law

Their approach stayed simple and natural. Tigernuts and buckwheat as a base feed, mixed with 2mm, 3mm, and 6mm pellets, all boosted with h**p oil and salt to keep the fish interested.

Hookbaits were straightforward:
Plain tigernuts topped with pop-ups, along with a few natural range cured boilies doing the job.

In pressured water like this, keeping it simple and consistent really makes the difference.
