Thanks for joining me at Macbutners this morning to discuss the start time.

- It was agreed that we will start all the road and mtb rides at 7.15 am for the next month until the solstice and then move it back to seven o’clock.
- Our weekly schedule will include road rides on alternate Sundays and will be longer distances to build endurance for the DC in particular.
- ⁠Ride schedule will also indicate distances for those not familiar with all the routes.
- Also agreed that Steven Douglas will run a later ride for those that don’t want to brave the chilly weather.
- ⁠Contact Steve if you want to be added to this WhatsApp group.
- ⁠Again a request to limit your chatter on the chat line to cycling related subjects pleeese 🥺

- Fires will be started at 17h00 to ensure we finish reasonably early
- ⁠Club will sponsor wood and charcoal
- ⁠Bring a knee blanket for the chill
- ⁠Bring and braai
- ⁠Pub is open in the club so don’t bring drinks.

Final day at the races. What a final night with rain and gust of wind that upturned many a gazebo however we preserved to deliver race ready bikes for the final stage of the 2025 ABSA Cape Epic

From dry dusty days to wet muddy days the ABSA Cape Epic normally delivers everything. Penultimate stage almost done and a final late night to get the bikes race ready will complete another amazing African Adventure.
