Flaps are one of the most used steps in tap dancing and usually one of the first steps you learn when starting out. Getting it right sets the foundation for every move that comes after.

Our little tappers are absolute troopers, practising their flaps with energy, focus, and plenty of smiles. 🥁💖

Come on… who doesn’t love pink?! One of our tap moms brought over a whole batch of sparkly pink tap shoes from the UK to gift at birthday parties - and needless to say, my studio has officially been taken over by PINK GLITTER TAP SHOES! 😍💃

🍔 Tap Tip: Drawbacks can be tricky… until you turn them into a hamburger! 😄

Start simple:
🥖 Top Bun = Step
🥖 Bottom Bun = Heel

Once that’s nice and comfortable, add the filling:
🍔 Patty = S***k (on the other foot)

Easy to remember, fun to practice, and it just sticks every time! 💃✨
