World Foster Day

Children protection week: 28 May to 4 June 2024.

A BIG Thank You to Boland Nomads for the yummy packets they gave to our children this past weekend!

Nkhosi is an 11 year old boy who lives in our Kayamandi home. He is an energetic little boy, always climbing onto everything, just as little boys should. However, we started noticing through his play, that he seems to have potential for gymnastics. We approached a well known gymnastics club in Stllenbosch who agreed to take him into their special program for disadvanged children. We, Vineyard Houses, are only responsible for registration as well as costs for competitions, should he be fortunate to excel to that stage (which we have no doubt about). In addition to that, we would love to be in a position to buy him the necessary sportswear. We believe that if children feel that they belong (in this case, belong to a "club unity") that it will even enhance Nkosi's will to perform to the best of his ability.
